SOTEC is pleased to announce that General Monitors, Inc. and their representative, Nice-Thornton, has appointed SOTEC as an approved and certified service center and provider of General Monitors’ gas and flame detection equipment for Louisiana, Mississippi, South Arkansas, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
General Monitors is a leading manufacturer of combustible, toxic and H2S gas detection; UV, UV/IR, IR/IR flame detection equipment and open-path gas detection systems. SOTEC has factory-trained engineers available to provide evaluation, design and equipment needs to meet your hazard requirements; and our factory-trained, certified service technicians can perform both on-site and in-shop repairs to this equipment.
SOTEC specializes in providing gas, smoke and fire detection systems and fire suppression systems to the marine, offshore and industrial markets. Our Fire Suppression Systems consist of Water-Mist, FM-200, CO2, Foam and Dry-Chemical systems. All of our systems are designed to meet the requirements set forth by all regulatory bodies; such as NFPA, State Fire Marshals, USCG, ABS, DNV, etc..
SOTEC provides total turn-key capabilities to design, engineer, install and startup these types of systems, and to perform customer training. We also provide after-sales maintenance and service contracts on all systems and hardware we sell and install. Our Engineering and Service personnel are NICET-certified.
