CLEAN AGENT SYSTEMS

Clean Agent Fire System
Sotec provides both automatically electrically actuated systems (for NFPA 2001 applications) and manually only activated (for USCG marine approved applications) clean agent systems.

A Clean agent system such as FK-5-1-12 is fast and effective, penetrating all spaces of the protected area, suppressing fires in seconds.  This agent has minimal fire-related downtime and leaving no residue behind to damage electronic equipment, vital software or irreplaceable equipment.  These types of systems are tested and accepted by UL and FM, and comply with the NFPA 2001 Standard.

Clean agent systems such as FK-5-1-12 are people-safe because they are non-toxic, and when used in accordance with NFPA 2001 Standard, cause no breathing problems and won’t obscure vision in an emergency situation. Unlike other systems that may take up tremendous amounts of space to house their containers, clean agent systems are designed to provide maximum fire protection, with minimum hardware that blends in with their surroundings.

Depending upon the characteristics of the facility to be protected, SOTEC can recommend an Ansul, Fireboy or Kidde system that is suitable for your application. These clean agent systems are designed (layout design, flow calculations, etc.) to comply with applicable local, national and international regulatory agencies.
